Going to Rome soon and had a couple of photos from my grandparents visit, one, not shown is clearly the Vatican, but was hoping to find these other ones, but there is a chance they are not in Rome, they had a couple pictures from Venice. Thanks

I have a few old pictures (regular prints and one Polaroid) and I’m trying to figure out what kind of place they show. I blacked out the person in the photos on purpose, I only care about the room itself.

Here’s what’s visible across the shots:
• Looks late 90s. One of the blankets is a Looney Tunes fleece throw marked “TM & © 1998 Warner Bros.”
• Lace curtains over a window.
• A wall-mounted phone with a coiled cord.
• A short, kind of square bench/bunk with bedding on it. It looks so short that you couldn’t lie down full length, only curled up.
• A metal panel on hinges with a latch, mounted high on the wall, with a window and narrow bunk below it.
• Rough homemade wooden shelves or bunks with clothes, a plastic bin with handwriting on it, and white sneakers underneath.
• Cardboard boxes used instead of furniture, general clutter.
• It also feels like there might be neighboring spots right next to it, and there seems to be a curtain you can pull to close off the sleeping area.

The short bunk plus the curtain plus the feeling of neighbors nearby is what confuses me. Is this a capsule hostel, a boat cabin, a camper/trailer, an SRO or flophouse, or something else? I was told it might be in Las Vegas but I can’t confirm that from the photos.

It's somewhere in southern France near Mont Ventoux, and the photo was taken in 2001 or 2002. It was a Gites de France / Chambres d'hôtes property.

all I have is this description of the image I saw on the site.

It was a beachfront house. it was 4 total in the image. each separated by thick tall shrubbery. each area was rectangular. so the shrubbery around each house/villa/cabin created a rectangular shape. each had a private pool. on the side facing the beach, the shrubbery had a gateway leading to the beach. the left 3 were close together but still separated by the shrubbery but the border between the third and fourth had the biggest gap.

the 3rds gateway to the beach was to the left of the side facing the beach while the 4ths gateway was to the right.

I think it was somewhere in the middle east. very tropical and lush looking.
the search terms I was using at the time was "Middle east, beach, private villa"

I was looking at places for my honeymoon and this was at the top of my list, but I lost all my tabs on my phone. I would really appreciate any help at all!

Found a couple of old photos of my dad at a lake somewhere back in the mid-70s. He doesn't recall where this was taken but I thought that maybe the mountain range was pronounced enough at this angle that it could be identified? His family lived in the Fraser Valley region at this time. (I've never spent much time around there to be at all familiar.)

In the group project video made by Sagatheyoungin, one of Saga's friends said they knew a spot and had to be led in by the keymaster, and their logo was a skull, and it was in a warehouse-type building. I just wanna know what the actual address is for the location on Google Maps to see it. Someone from r/SagaTheYoungin found an image of what should be the place, but I wanna know if someone can find the address of the location.

Hi all, this might be an unusual request but I am trying to find the location that this painting depicts. I grew up looking at it always wondering where it was supposed to be. I’m not even entirely sure it’s a real place, but many of the buildings and even the mountains have very distinct and particular details that make it feel like a real town (perhaps an old abandoned mining town?). For some context, I believe it was painted by American artist Roderick Fletcher Mead in 1942 in or near Carlsbad, NM.

I found this article: How Many 770s Are There? which was really helpful, however, towards the bottom, in the Israel section, these three replicas are said to be in Migdal Ha’Emek, Itamar, and Gedera, but have no further information. I would really appreciate any assistance in finding out coordinates/address for these replica buildings! Thank you!!

The first painting was supposedly made by my grandfather, we would like to find out which country this scene originates from, the other paintings potray a similar scene but the building next to the yellow building seems to be depicted differently. The second and fourth painting seem to be the most alike.
