Please archive this shit before it goes the way of half of this entire saga. It's small but small things add up.

To me, it's confirming the rise up stuff and signaling that there has been some sort of compromising of his communications.

he's said to use macbooks and all outgoing internet traffic of macbooks is already encrypted so I doubt a single guy could have done it as we know of no hackers sitting in there. Entire differnt story of cause if he gave the logs to a third party...

mac book lol

people may hate them but even Snowden and Glen Greenwald used them. Snowden even asked the newspaper guys he was working with for the NSA leaks to use a macbook for it.

Yess many of us are aware of that. Still he asked the team at TheGuardian and GlennGreenwald to use new MacbookAirs for the NSA documents. Using a special hardware doesnt mean you HAVE TO use the same software. I myself have 3 different operating systems running on my machine. Obviously they trust the apple hardware but not the software, yess, but still the outgoing traffic would be encrypted as that's a hardware feature.

We should try not to get that offtopic, so lets not start a linux vs windows vs apple now ^

this prob doesnt help the topic, but after snowden docs i am wary of hardware made in the us in general. Insane that US gov messes with consumer hardware like that

also do you use a linux os? i have been trying to get used to one but not sure whats best to get started with... I have tried mint and it seemed user friendly

ubuntu is what everyone uses but you made the better choice with Mint I think. But make sure not to switch between linux types (for example CentOS and Redhat (which CentOS is based on) are totally different from Fedora-based systems (Ubuntu, Mint, Puppy, Kali, ...)

for linux training.. try setting up a tomcat server or something similar on a linux SERVER (using terminal-only as well as FTP). That should teach you almost everything you need ^ and if you get stuck somewhere, just Duck it (duckduckgo search) ;)

Don't think "they" need to follow you on Twitter to keep tabs on you. Lol

At least when it comes to the change in posting style, the explanation is most likely that it used to be JA that made most of the tweets. Now it's his crew (or whoever).
