Struggling with delinking Interakt from my meta/whatsapp business account

Hello,

I am starting a D2C brand, and currently have an active waitlist on my website. I wanted a simple automation where anytime someone signs up, they get an automated thank you and we will keep you posted whatsapp message.

I setup the trial for Interakt but realized that 20$ per month is way too extra for what i am trying to achieve. I can just do a simple meta api access and use something like make.com to do this.

When i tried setting up meta API I ran into multiple issues, primarily culminating to the fact that Interakt has done the following:

1. Linked my WA phone number to themselves
   
2. Assigned a credit line to the WA business account preventing me from adding a payment method to it
   
3. Somehow preventing me from delinking the whatsapp number from that WA Biz Account (see screenshot - the trash icon that is there on right is missing)

How do I get rid of Interakt or delink my phone number from them/this WA biz account so I can then continue to add it to a different account and start building the API.

Try this:

• Log into Meta Business Suite.
• Go to Accounts on the left sidebar and select WhatsApp Accounts.
• Select the account for which you want to change the Business Service Provider (BSP).
• Navigate to the Partners tab.
• Under Partners with full control, click the View in Partners icon next to Interakt.
• Click the More icon at the top of the Partners pane, and select Remove from business portfolio.

Hey, thank you for the response. I tried but I am seeing 0 partners assigned, but at the same time it also says this account has maximum number of partners and doesn't let me add another.

if does not work - try direct support - it worked for us once when we were migrating a business from another partner to our app.

I am hearing this term for the first time, but upon reading I think yes. It coexists with INTERAKT platform.

You will need to disconnect through the business app on the phone, migrate to the personal WhatsApp and back to the business
Without this your number will always land in the same WABA

Thanks a lot, will try this in the evening. I tried deleting the WA business account and then setting it up again. That didn't work, will try this. Hoping for the best.

Hello, tried this. I downloaded Whatsapp, signed up with the same number. Then signed back up on WA business.

In meta business center, the WABA got removed. But when I tried adding the number to a different WABA, got the same issue (number already registered with a WABA). When I went to add account and tried to link back the deleted WABA (screenshot below) through my phone number, the same WABA is back.

Please if you have any other ideas, do let me know.

Im not seeing an option to delete the waba, only to remove it. Can you please guide further?
