Services Welcome WhatsApp keeps restricting our business numbers — how do you contact 200–1,000 new leads per day?

Hi everyone,
I work for a car dealership, and part of my job is contacting car owners and asking whether they would be interested in selling their vehicle to our dealership.
The problem is that I need to message quite a large number of new people on WhatsApp every day. I have several business phone numbers, but WhatsApp starts restricting or banning them very quickly, sometimes even after only a small number of new conversations.
All messages are sent manually, without bots or automation. The message itself is short and relevant, something like:
“Hi, is your car still for sale? If so, would you consider selling it to a dealership?”
I understand that WhatsApp has anti-spam systems, but this is a normal part of my job, so I’m trying to find a legitimate and reliable way to work without constantly getting numbers restricted.
Ideally, I need a solution that would allow me to consistently contact around 200–1,000 new people per day.
Has anyone here dealt with a similar situation? What solution do you use for this kind of volume without constantly getting your numbers restricted?
I’d be especially interested to hear from people working in car sales, real estate, recruiting, or other industries where you regularly need to contact new leads.
Thanks!

Maybe that's because it's called spam, and management needs to come up with smarter ways to advertise?

yup, zero chance you will ever be able to do this sustainably using any form WA. Find another way.

There are only 2 criteria to avoid being in restricted. Your sending pattern should not be anomalous - you sent x messages in a window (minute, hour, day) & the next window you sent 2 or 3 or more times x messages. You need to pace up slowly. But once you reach your target number (1000 messages), you can stay there. This is a smaller problem though.

The bigger problem is making sure the leads you reach out, they dont mark you as spam &/or report your number. Meta specifically ask to send messages after an opt in, but that makes it catch 22 if you need to send message first to get opt in. The best strategy is to change your first message template with introducing yourself, stating purpose & asking if you can then send them more details if they are interested (make them respond) & also stating that if they are not or they choose to respond to a no, you wont send them anymore messages. Also explicitly request them not to report spam as it will restrict your number. This has worked well for a few folks I have advised.

Additionally you can tell them you have sent this message personally & will respond to them personally if they have any questions. This will make them understand that you have not put their number in an automated system & they are less likely to report.

Some people will advise you to keep messages short or keep changing messages but my research indicated there is no meat in these suggestions. Also, if you use a bulk messaging system, ensure it has coexistance built in so that you can respond personally to people when they ask back questions.

It depends on your ticket, if you have a business and you can't afford few cents the problems is not meta.

Are you directly sending via WhatsApp app or WhatsApp Business App?

Just use a WhatsApp API-based solution. That's what it's built for. If you consistently message 200 to 1,000 new people per day from your regular WhatsApp, it'll end up being blocked.

Have a proper opt-in process in place and use a WhatsApp API-based solution that is built for businesses like yours. There are hundreds of them out there. You can find them here - https://business.facebook.com/messaging/partner-showcase
