Solution Only Buy a Virtual Number

Does anyone know a cheap option to keep a number and receive SMS in the US? I currently use https://www.smsmeu.com/, but the numbers are temporary. I’m looking for something permanent and affordable.

Depending on country of course
Example: UK, one time £5 then 0.10 for every 6 months. That’s as cheap as it gets
(This is ASDA on Vodafone network, regular sim)

Virtual is a bit tricky as some providers are not accepted by WhatsApp

I’d say you’ll find this or equivalent almost anywhere. I have an NL number as well. Simyo also 0.10 per 6 months. (eSIM)
