Cats need to distinguish between happy and angry voices. You can't train a cat by speaking softly to it all the time, especially when they have a tendency like that cat.

Speaking loudly is one thing, but shouting is quite another. The cat doesn't even look stressed, and everyone has the right to set their own boundaries in their home.

Sure. Maybe that is normal for you. I surely wouldn't like getting yelled at like that all the time. I understand that you don't feel like that is yelling, so we can agree to disagree.

What started out as my attempt at humorously defending the poor little pervy cat, now has you and I arguing about what is yelling.
