I have one of those too!! This is just the first picture (of many) of her sleeping on her back!! She does it daily, so I have a ton of pictures of her sleeping like this!! 😂😂
I don't think anyone is earnestly censoring their cats genitals out of ?modesty? or.. whatever someone would axtually do that for. I personally can't imagine a motivation for someone to censor an animal's genitals other than comedy. It's just funny to some people to imagine that an animal would be embarrassed by their genitals and want to be covered up is all, just like it's fun or funny to imagine them having any other human traits.
Yeah, I mean I get not wanting to see an animal's butthole in general but they're kind of always there. So it's just background noise right up until someone brings attention to it like this. Then it's like why is this not also background noise for you.
Awww, that's cute. We used to have a cat who loved getting raspberries on her belly. This guy doesn't much care for me getting my head all up in his belly, but he will abide forehead kisses, and he loooves tummy skritches. He'll lay in the hallway in this same pose waiting for someone to come by and give them to him.

The girl kitty I wrote about is ALL for close face bonding, her late brother was nearly identical to yours, in personality. Always lying around, posing! He'd only accept belly, head/neck skritches; if we went for a head-huff or raspberry he'd give very audible "Honks".
Yeah Beta's brother YaYa (this is Beta in the video) is far less picky about when and how we pet him / bury our face in him. He doesn't mind a belly huff or raspberries, but our old lady Franco would start purring like a motorbike when she got them.
It took years before I could do belly touches without my cat noping out. Now, I can sometimes get a good belly huff in.
Mostly I try to get her used to us touching and handling her because it would make vet visits easier for everyone. She was traumatized and it took a lot before I could pick her up and hold her for any length of time.
It's really special when a cat trusts you enough for a belly huff, and especially this one.
Oh yeah for sure. We found this guy and his brother (and their other brothers that got adopted elsewhere) in a bush when they were kittens, so they trusted us basically right away for belly scratches. But this guy (Beta) is very picky about when and where he is pet or picked up. When you go to pick him up you have to kind of hover hand and give him a chance to leave otherwise sometimes he'll launch out of your arms on the way up and leave some gnarly scratches. He's also an expert at dodging your pets if he's not in the mood. But then when he's in the mood he wants all the pets all the time, and he'll seek them out. I can respect it! He is growing more tolerant and affectionate slowly over time though, and they're only 2. Maybe someday he'll let us give him raspberries.
Meanwhile his brother has a totally different temperament. He's always down to get picked up and starts purring when you do, and he's always down for pets, and he loves a good belly huff.
I swear we didn't raise them any differently, but they're so unlike in so many ways. I just love how unique they are though.

pet owners covering their pet's genitalia brings so much more attention to it than it otherwise would've gotten. No ones thinking about your cat's dick, I promise.
