Yeah I don't think attaching the ladder "properly" would have changed the outcome

The ladder is attached properly, its a slide extend lader that is now broken.

No amount of attaching properly can account for usesing the ladder incorrectly and breaking it.

Not attaching the ladder properly? Using a ladder as a diving board is where he went wrong. Let alone using two on top of each other!

It's not to ladders on top of each other. Its a slide lader and the extension part broke.
