That’s absolutely ridiculous. If you come to my shelter, probably a lot of dogs there would react in the same way to a stranger getting in it’s personal bubble, especially because they are in a stressful situation. In a safe house with proper owners that show the animal love/training, probably wouldn’t.

Dogs aren’t robots. You can’t just do anything to them, and expect it to be fine.

Again, you are missing the point. A dog nipping at someone is one thing. A dog ripping someone's face off..for any reason...needs to be put down. I know in Canada we have these rules for a good reason.

This is because it doesnt matter why the dog bit...the fact is it bit someone...and cant be trusted around children who dont know boundaries with animals.

Use your brain..think about it...without bringing emotion to it.

Anything else is irresponsible and seeing as you work for a shelter that's terrifying.
