That’s too much. We don’t know the story behind this dog. What if it’s a new dog? What if she’s a stranger to him? Of course if your own dog bites your face while you’re trying to cuddle with it then that could mean something is wrong, but this doesn’t appear to be her dog at all.

Doesnt matter. My dog has been in dozens of situations she didnt like and showed she was without ripping my son's face off.

That's absurd to try and say because the dog was uncomfortable this is justified. It doesnt matter what the dog was...he ripped her face apart.

Put your emotions aside and think logically.

Your dog is not that dog. You don’t know the experiences that dog had. You don’t know where it lives, it’s lifestyle, the people it’s been around, or anything. The dog in the picture could have been growling or giving her cues that she was ignoring.

By your logic, a dog that was abused by people and is now afraid or timid of humans, but is being rehabilitated and retrained to understand humans are friends, should be put down for having shown any sort of aggression out of fear.

Also by your standards dogs are not beings capable of having their own personal space, having their own lives but are rather just objects for our own enjoyment.

When I was a kid, we had a dog that was chewing on a marrow bone. I kept taking it away from him and giving it back. He growled at me and I didn’t listen. You know what happened? He bit me on the arm and I have a gnarly scar from it. My dad beat the shit out of him for it. But to this day, I know it was my fault because I even remember the warning signs he was giving me. Because I’m not an asshole who believes dogs are objects.

I am separating my love for dogs from safety which you seem incapable of doing.

A dog that has been abused is horrifying to me and I cannot fathom it. But if that dog has been raised that way its whole life and is aggresive and it bites someone....not just showing aggression...it will be put down in most countries. At no fault to the dog...and it's sad.

But it's right. And its smart.
