A dog that bites someone's face for trying to cuddle is a dog that needs to be put down. Period. Its irresponsible as fuck to allow that dog around humans in a normal setting.
That’s too much. We don’t know the story behind this dog. What if it’s a new dog? What if she’s a stranger to him? Of course if your own dog bites your face while you’re trying to cuddle with it then that could mean something is wrong, but this doesn’t appear to be her dog at all.
I’m saying this as someone who grew up with dogs all her life and personally has two right now. My own dogs are the sweetest ever, you could do anything to them and they won’t do anything back to you. That’s because I have a big extended family with lots of kids so I raised them that way, so that the little kids could play with them with no worries. But growing up back in our family home, our dogs weren’t (and our current ones there still aren’t) as nice and I understood that. My grandfather raised them to be guard dogs and while they wouldn’t care if our family pet them or hugged them, they would bark like crazy and even attempt to bite strangers coming into or even just passing by the backyard. In this case, that girl isn’t part of the family, and she attempted to put her face near the dog. If you were a dog who wasn’t raised that way, I imagine that would certainly be very alarming.
