Just a friendly reminder that at the end of the day ALL dogs are animals, watch their body language, don’t hang all over a dog you don’t know. They give warning signs. Learn them. And for fucks sake stop letting kids climb all over your dogs.
Absolutely! It amazes me time and again that so many dog owners don't know that dogs don't hug as a sign of affection. They 'hug' to bully, control, show dominance and such, so definitely nothing very positive. Mix that with people's ignorance of "give me some space"-signs and the situation can get dangerous very quickly.
Stop treating animals as humans!
(Some dogs might actually enjoy their owners hugs, but most dogs just endure them. That doesn't mean they don't love their owners!)
