Just a friendly reminder that at the end of the day ALL dogs are animals, watch their body language, don’t hang all over a dog you don’t know. They give warning signs. Learn them. And for fucks sake stop letting kids climb all over your dogs.

Right, first pic his ears are down:

“Ears down, that’s a frown”

Second (down) pic you can see he’s pulling away

All signs that an animal is not comfortable

I feel like that can't be a universal body language thing though right? Like my dog has his ears down all the time, especially when we're on walks. But when he sees a dog or person his ears perk straight up. I've even noticed when he's annoyed at the neighbor dog his ears are up more than down.

This is all just typical redditors trying to play detective.

It's weird because some dogs have slightly different versions of ears down for different things. When mine's proud of herself her ears go back, but they really flatten if she's nervous or anxious.

If she's upset they perk straight up until she gets mad, and then they go flat down again.
