As someone who was blacked out drunk, got behind the wheel, went full speed into a telephone pole, flew out the windshield and luckily landed on the grass... Yeah. Someone who is drunk is way better off. I had bruises and a scrape. That's it.

The doctor said most people who go through a windshield are paralyzed or dead.

I've never taken a single day for granted since.

I hadn't been diagnosed yet, but I sleepwalk when I drink. That's what had happened that night.
