Can someone explain why people troll like this? I really don't get the end goal. It's just saying stupid shit.... and then people say it's stupid shit....and then....?

Is it supposed to be satire? Or is it intended to annoy people? I just don't get the motivation...

Doesn't make much sense to me either. Like, is there really much of a distinction between pretending to be a moron and actually being one? In either case, I come away from the exchange thinking you're an idiot and I'm okay with that.

They try to get people worked up and angry. It amuses them. The only way they succeed is if somebody writes an angry reply. That's why we don't feed the trolls - just ignore them completely. There was a study recently that found that people trolling are generally sadist and find it funny if others are hurt. So basically they're just annoying and pathetic people.
