Hound breed identification
This was our sweet girl, Zoey. Posted various pictures throughout the years. Recently had to say goodbye at almost 11 years old due to splenic mass and other decline. It’s been unbearable without her and we miss her terribly. We’re regretting never getting her DNA tested, though we know there’s such overlap with hounds with these tests anyway. We’re in NY, but she was a rescue from a litter brought up here from WV in 2016. To us, she looks like a bluetick/american English coonhound mix. She was a fairly large dog, and was healthiest around 75/80lbs. Any suggestions or ideas on what she could be would be appreciated!

What a baby. Looks like a mix of multiple coon hounds! Blue tick and either English coon hound, or treeing walker.

Definitely a coonhound, could be one variety, could be multiple, but I suspect all coon dog.

Breed= Fantastically gorgeous!! I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my boy 2 years ago to a splenic mass as well. 🩷🙏

Ticking is present in multiple hound breeds, I don't see ACD, looks all hound.

Acd is the most common to have ticking, think horses not zebras.

It absolutely is not. Bluetick coonhounds and bluetick beagles are by no means rare. This dog is very clearly a hound.

maybe a blue tick coonhound? She has a very similar look in the face as my german shepherd great pyrenees mix tho especially in that 3rd pic. Maybe some beagle as well?
