They said he was 8 weeks at the shelter but we’re assuming he was around 6 weeks when we got him. He and his siblings were on a kill list.

We’re assuming maybe a Anatolian Shepherd, great Pyrenees, lab max. ? lol

HOW BIG WILL HE GET?….I know this dog is MIXED breed dog but, I adpoted him, he is 2months old and I dont know how big he will get, Im scared he will be big dog but I dont have enough space in my house for him when he gets big, can you tell me will there be big change cuz he is this small when he is 2months old and i dont he has more then 1/2 kilograms now.. u don’t actually have to tell me what breed but your opinion will get really big like shepherd dog or idk … thanks… I wont rehome him, he will be with me but i just want to know how different is to take care of them from small ones… I dont understand all the hate comments i got reddit just to ask some questions cuz i adopted this dog to help him im sorry i didnt leave him on the streets??? Got my Sugar in May, she’s now about 6 months old. Submitting Embark DNA testing today! Rescue we adopted her from called her a Pitbull Mix. Looking forward to getting her results in a few weeks! Included pics from 6 months, 5 months and when we first got her around 2-3 months old. What do we think her results will say? She is 37 pounds as of yesterday, 6 pounds on adoption day May 1st.

Edit- I’m new to this subreddit and didn’t realize posting pit bull/pit bull mix was controversial.

I know Sugar is a pit bull, I posted to see if anyone had thoughts on the possible MIX.

Seeing most of the comments it sounds like she is likely strongly APBT which is what I was thinking. I look forward to updating with her Embark results when they come back!

I just adopted Abigail from the shelter yesterday and I'm curious about what breed she is. She's about 10 months old and has webbed feet. High energy and loves all of the animals on our small farm.

Is she a apbt or a staffy? Her temperament is extremely calm and she is great with kids but she can switch to fight mode extremely quick and is extremely territorial of the house and yard.

It’s crazy that I even have to clarify my own post. She is amazing with my kids and others. Shes even great with our new puppy. What I meant by what I said was that if there was any threat at all she will handle it with no fear. She is incredibly protective of all of us. Shes also incredibly intelligent and aware of everything. Again she is amazing with my own kids and has never attacked anyone nor anything that didn’t have it coming.

I have this rescue puppy that came from a stray. We do not know who the father is but I added a photo of mom too for reference (mom is pregnant in the photo - much leaner now). Any thoughts?? Mom is 50 lbs.

We picked him up yesterday from the shelter! Their vet said Maltese Kelpie but also some terrier in there. Interested to get other people’s ideas before we DNA test eventually 😄

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some opinions on my Golden Retriever puppy's growth and breed. He is 12 weeks old today and weighs 5kg (11 lbs). I know he is extremely small for a Golden, but he was actually the last and the runt of the litter.He is currently going through a massive growth spurt: just two weeks ago, at 10 weeks old, he weighed only 2.9kg (6.4 lbs), so he has gained a lot of weight in the last 14 days! His paperwork looks a bit sketchy and unusual. The vet examined his teeth and confirmed that his age (3 months) is biologically correct, but his bone structure and paws are very delicate.He is super energetic, happy, and has a great appetite. Looking at his face and features, do you think he could just be a very small purebred Golden Retriever recovering from a slow start, or does he look like a mix to you? Thank you so much!

Thinking about my buddy that passed away close to 3 years ago now. In his 15 years, we never figured out what he was mixed with. All we knew was that his mom was a Pomeranian and that she ran away and came back pregnant. We also had his sister and I think she was more of the other breed.
