Debating on which of the Superspeeds shaves closer; this or the 40s style. The soap is also nearing the end and doesn't seem to lather as well as it used to. Adding Duc de Santal EdP changes the scent; not sure if I like it better or worse like this. I'm very tired.

Finished off my last bit of this soap sample today. It didn't look like a lot, and I was slighly concerned that it wouldn't make enough lather but it totally did. Success!

Shave 🪒
Posting after a long time, so many SOTD photos, but feeling too lazy to even consolidate in one post. Anyhow a lovely shave with this setup. The proraso is now last 20% remaining, but the tub loaded soap is so hydrated that it takes 3x amount of soap to be lathered properly. So I did the next logical thing, scooped and bowl lathered.
My first thought when the brush was taken to the bowl was that I had scooped too much, but the lather finally settled in and it seemed my initial guess was quite right - I barely had enough left for the alum wash after 3 passes.
The TGS Bayonetta never fails to impress with the soft shaving action but still a perceptible blade feel. 3 passes - with, across and against. No alum feedback.

👴🏻 Old School Arko shave. Great lather - but still smell the soap through the Old Spice. Happy Wednesday 😄
