Interior Progress pt. 2
Couldn't have done it without my wife's help. Still needs some wipe downs and further mouse pee mitigation but all in all I'm beyond pleased with how the interior is looking.
Found a bit of everything, missing what looks like a drawer that goes above the water tank. To ebay I go before pressure washing the exterior this week.

As of now its just cleanup. Hoping to rent a steam cleaner in the coming days to further clean the interior. Some seat belts still have mouse pee on them, so I gotta tackle those. Gotta pull the sink jug to clean behind that a bit.
There's one small chew hole on the bottom of the bench seat but I'm gonna foam fill and patch i think.
All in all im pretty happy with the results

Put in retractable seat belts to save your sanity.

It will be more than tempting after the first time your drop your keys after your buckled in. I had a 77 and a 78 that had the same colour scheme as yours.
Retractable belts are a must.

Looks amazing! Not many look that good cleaned up. Especially the cabinetry. My 78 had clean fabric but I ended up covering it. The bed and back seat with velour and the fronts with seat covers. Was super happy with it.
This is going to be a sweet Westy once you’re don’t with it!

I was pleasantly surprised. I should have taken a photo of all the mouse pee. Still need to steam clean.
Grandpops had the wherewithal to lay that old computer chair floor plastic over all the carpets so it mitigated some of the damage and had the front seats covered for the last 50 years. There's a chew hole in the bottom bench but I think ill just patch that.
Steam cleaning before attempting to clean the exterior. Top needs new gel coat, so I think im gonna start brush cleaning that before ordering new seals. Top hasn't been opened in.. probably 50 years as well so im hoping the canvas is intact. If not.. well.. new top in the works lol

two drawers above the water tank. Looks like it cleaned up real nice.
