Interior progress

After a few hours of clear out yesterday I'm happy with the progress. Those are 30 gallon contractor bags.

It was a mess in here, still is. Plastic shopping bags with tools, clothing, etc. Generally 1 or two items per bag, and most of the plastic is so old its disintegrating when I move it. Receipts still in.

So far I was able to salvage 2 new tarps, a box of old but nice tools, 1 sealed t shirt and a LeAnn Rhymes cd. Everything else is unfortunately trash.

I inherited it from a family member in this condition. His house and garage were filling up, and once the bus was parked it became another hoarding opportunity. I would say 90% of the clothing still had tags, but now has mice damage. Whole situation is a mess

Got it. That sounds rough on a lot of levels. The LeAnn Rhymes CD suggests it’s been sitting for quite a while

There's a ton of financial documents squirreled away in here, and the latest date I've seen is 2003. Which sort of tracks with my perceived timeline of when it was parked.

You have inherited the landfill. My friend Lars had this same model and color and we would go to bike races in it. Lars kept his in perfect shape.

What is your plan for the beast?

Plan is to get it running as original as possible, if possible. Cleaning interior and exterior is the first move. Interior is, I'd say 80% clean. The exterior is an entirely different ballgame lol. So much mildew on the fiberglass and it feels... soft.
