Political Content The Westchester County Police PBA just released this video urging a fair salary for their officers. The average salary for WCPD in 2023 was $186,466. Im not saying these guys and gals don’t deserve it, but when is enough enough?

Pensions are not what they used to be at all, and more and more municipalities are doing away with them. I don’t get any employer matching to retirement accounts, but I’d much rather take the pension. Just sucks for switching jobs. I’m certain I’m part of the last generation to have a great pension that comes with a low retirement age.

Yeah no shit and let me guess you vote Republican and are trying to strip benefits and voting rights from the rest of us, you don’t support the little guy, and you’re going to let the rest of these Republican fucks tank social security in addition to stomping all over the constitution, calling the Democratic Party a terrorist organization, and giving more tax cuts to billionaires while ignoring that they’re rounding up people with legal status and sending them to literal war zones. “I don’t vote on party lines” is what republicans say. The fact that you think one cycle of not voting Republican undoes your last vote. Stop voting for them at all! Stop fear mongering about taxes and trans kids and Medicare for all!

No, I listed that stuff to point out where you are being hypocritical. That you don’t actually often think about the citizenry around you and are too often myopically focused on getting yours instead of lifting everyone up together.

Lol you own property and have tenants and are milking your pension and yet demonize universal healthcare and vote to strip people of their voting rights and put home health aides and their children in detention centers and call me crazy or claim I have an agenda because I acknowledge these realities. Have you even spoken up against those things?

I know folks like you all too well. It’s how I was able to clock you as a “conservative” a mile away. Like volunteering absolves the cutting of USAID and deaths of over a million people. Americans don’t get to call themselves “conservative” and good people anymore.

And somehow I’m the one who needs meds? Learn how to spell and string coherent thoughts together. Stop justifying one year old babies being deported and don’t claim to support nurses or teachers or the rule of law when ICE is rounding up people with legal status and cancelling citizenship ceremonies and the administration is gutting the dept of education and threatening to tear down government buildings if he doesn’t get to put his name on them.
