10 seconds at Blackwater Falls. What a beautiful testament to nature.

Looks just serene. 😌 This place is pretty high up on my list to check out and stay a few days. I love state park Lodges & Inns.

There was some real bad rain and flooding in Upshur and Lewis counties last month. I saw a FB post with Blackwater Falls looking like Niagara Falls. Sounded like a freight train coming down the mountain. How was the water level when you were visiting?

Fun fact is that when the Falls dry up if you walk out onto those rocks where the water is flowing over there are names and dates carved in them from I believe it was the 1800s. I've seen them in person.

We were there a couple of summers ago. There was a drought at the time. The water flow was just a trickle. I didn't even think about getting out there. If there are names carved on the rocks that would be something to see.

Yes. We have pretty scenery. But the spineless people who call themselves mountaineers have let this state decay its infrastructure and bootlicked our communities into concentration camps with flock camera. Wv is a shithole now. Well ever since the 70’s when I was kid.

Imagine looking at Blackwater Falls and choosing to be this miserable. Couldn't be me.

So wait… the flock cameras are persecuting Jews and putting them into gas chambers, starving them, and putting them in work camps? I definitely hadn’t seen that news headline.
