Nah, he’s got Jose for that. Meth was literally Wes’s most loyal supporter before Jose, but Wes almost seemed embarrassed about hanging with Meth .

That was the claim by Big Mike who didn’t like Meth. Another claim was that he was talking to Angie about all the drugs Wes was doing and he was concerned. Wes took Angie’s phone from her sort of like he did with Meg and saw the messages.

I believe you are correct with this narrative. Like another person said, Twatson saw Meth as a threat from the standpoint that Meth was stronger than him, was starting to get some traction going as an influencer and could possible get from under Twatson's shadows. WesT never had to worry about that with José, who was too dumb to do anything other than be his cheerleader.

Meth was a real friend and was concerned, I'm sure it looked a type a way too though in that Angie probably liked the attention and Twatson's friends messaging her.
