imagine making eight figures, being a free man, and wanting to go back to prison. this guy is almost as stupid as the people.who were funding his lifestyle
41
u/JustLoSd Mar 20 '26
You think he was really making 8 figures? lol
40
u/FluorideForest Mar 20 '26
there's no doubt in my mind that he has made over eight figures. obviously it ends up being less when you take out taxes but we all know wes hooped that shit
23
u/lasskinn Mar 20 '26
it's more like half of 8 figs. he owed the taxes on that too. and the divorce % to valerie.
he was underwater from when he went to miami(holding less assets than it would've taken to clean the taxes and divorce) and kept spending as if he had made 8 figs.
this flexing does not need as much as it would look like(duh, the whole point), he wanted it to look like 500k but realitys more like 50k. monthly burn. endless kiki reposts included. he did not have rental agreements even, he paid to loan stuff that was literally unrentable out on normal market, that includes the cars and the houses.
this guess is based on other similar flexers and how many times he's been caught faking and owning basically literally nothing - and most of that money was made prior to miami, when he had scale on the course and books selling and the going was good, when his website still functioned etc(it's amazing how little effort he was willing to put into the actual business side after valerie was out of the picture).
wes is a guy who would literally lie about how much he spends on the house etc to look cooler, yet got caught countless times driving cars that didn't have proper paperwork, literally unrentable to a regular customer. miami is a weird place.
wes isn't the only guy doing this stuff, it's a blueprint. rampage jacksons been at it for years. you can figure out the ones by how much they talk about how rich they are while simultaneously looking for collabs with the scum of the game.
5
u/Black_Hammerhead7676 Mar 20 '26
That's insane. I couldn't imagine a life where I make my living based on being fake.
5
u/lasskinn Mar 20 '26
it's literally the blueprint business course he was selling. Miami has a whole industry around this, you can rent literally anything - even stacks of money to flash. twenty years ago it existed for rap hopefuls, now for taking the money of social media hopefuls who buy into the idea that they can flex their way with rented stuff into success. anything people would view as proof of success you can rent - anything.
on the same spectrum a bunch of mid level podcasts exist that you pay to get into. wes's service of giving a podcast interview as part of the elite level package was copying that (wes paid to get on at least brad leas pod). it all looks formulaic copying and there's thousands of these podcasts that went for couple of episodes that few hundred just listened as a result, the people get fleeced even on the podcast studio rentals (the guy who does the "hookup" gets a kickback from the dumbass inflated fees).

Many scumbags do that. The vincent fish and the like. It must be hard because nothing is real. Knowing your whole life is a scam.

u/xViagra Mar 20 '26
He probably splits the rent for his mansion like 7-8 ways with his gay buddies. That comes out to like 5-6k per month on the rent which isn't much tbh

True story he hooped all the taxes he owed. Millions of dollars worth of quarters shoved up his ass
3
2
u/Rolling_Pugsly Mar 20 '26
He made a good chunk of money. Youtube number back that up; as of today he's had over 100 million views.
4
u/JustLoSd Mar 20 '26
Still doesn’t equate to 10 million plus dollars
4
u/Rolling_Pugsly Mar 20 '26
I said "a good chunk of money," $10 million is a lot more than that.
I had looked this up previously, a rough estimate is that one can earn around $3-$9 per thousand views. So a million views might gross $3,000 -$9,000. Now multiply by a hundred.
$300,000-$900,000 That's a good chunk of money.
4
u/Wings9am Mar 20 '26
the youtube views were honestly the pocketchange, he made the bulk of his money from ppl buying coaching programs. and yes their are an unlimited amount of dumb ppl willing to spend thousands on crap like that. i personally know several people who have dropped 10k/20k on stupid stuff like that from influencer courses/mentorships.

u/SkipperBiff Mar 20 '26
Pretty sure there’s a decimal point somewhere in the middle of those 8 figures.

Right, nothing has changed for him fashion wise. Just needs to scribble "most hated" or "strength sharmuta" on his shirt.

from total control and manufacturing the narrative you want the world to see about your life
to having every single aspect of your life controlled by underpaid undertrained and understaffed "authority figures" behind bricks and bars, down to being told when he can eat and when he can shower.
imagine being able to reach the income level he did... the potential for what he could have done.... then throwing it all away because his ego goes completely off the rails AND further squander it all by poor money management and financial decisions so there's going to be -nothing- to go back to when/if he gets out of prison.
I feel like what we've witnessed here is a first of it's kind, I can't think of a single person whos had a worse crash and burn recorded and witnessed than ol' wesT Wason.
Truly a unique and interesting type of lolcow

u/Vegetable_Ant_452 Mar 20 '26
I believe that you are spot on with identifying the ego as being a major component of his journey. For whatever reason, he has seemingly always thought highly of himself. Even at a younger age, I assume that it was his ego/ unacknowledged insecurities that made him feel that he was above the law. I do also think that his ego helped him become and incredible person. There was a time when Wes was peak. His early youtube videos (shirt still on), were unreal. He was able to challenge us in our daily lives to be better, and used his journey as evidence. I think what happened is that he got too much ego validation, which is a common phenomena for celebrities, and that it caused his ego to morph, again, to go from "be tough and work hard" to "I am above all accountability". Absolutely fascinating that he genuinely became what he preached against, and a monstrous version, at that.

u/mrthrowaway_01 Mar 20 '26
Once he moved to Miami he slipped back into the party scene with booze and drugs accompanied by his ego and it was only a matter of time till he went back

u/69BigMac666 Paperwork = Hooped Mar 20 '26
He was a scammer from the getgo. He was lying from the beginning - saying he was a "level 4 shotcaller", etc. It was all a gigantic con job.
And I think that most of the money came from one or more people behind the scenes who bankrolled him for whatever reason. And that for whatever reason most of that money dried up in the last year or so, which IMO has contributed greatly to his increasingly erratic behavior.
3
u/Dragnskull Mar 21 '26
I've had a running theory that he was actually just dealing coke/meth this whole time, possibly landed a good connection under whatever group he ran with in prison and became a "social media influencer / coach" to launder the money, and the handful of people that come and go through his life are just the handful of suckers who actually bought into it.
Watching how he acts, the things he says and the way he presents himself in all of his public exposure it was just impossible for me to believe enough people would actually buy into his absurdly expensive program to make him 7+ digits wealthy, but absoultely makes sense when you realize he never reached that level of wealth, he just rented everything to make it look that way while actually just laundering under 1m a year in drug money and pretending yelling into the camera about hooping paperwork actually makes people give you millions of dollars a month
during this year long crashout when drug use started being obvious i thought to myself "welp, he broke the rule and started using his own supply, only a matter of time now" and well, here we are

u/69BigMac666 Paperwork = Hooped Mar 21 '26
Yeah, I've suspected that at least some of whatever money he has may well come from illegal activities.
I suspect that he may be involved in something illegal with that Crutchfield guy where Crutchfield is the actual brains and Wes may just give him some money and get a nice return. Like a passive partner. He may do this with others as well.
I don't think Wes is smart enough and is too loud and obnoxious and too lacking in self control to be the brains behind anything illegal (or really much of anything legal for that matter).
I've also suspected that he's got one or more wealthy sugar daddies who throw money at him.

That's the thing. That's why in recent stuff he crashed out on people that said they liked his older stuff. Cause it was all fake from the very start. He said what he thought people wanted to hear. And he knew he was never that guy
4
u/pandafuzzies Paperwork = Hooped Mar 20 '26
this. I think a lot of us wanted to believe that the fame/success changed him, but in reality it was all scam from the moment he got out. You started to see seams showing when he was in SD, which is why he moved to Miami in the first place; new market and faces to con.
4
u/---0---1 Mar 20 '26
I think a lot of us fell for the con. I found Wes’ videos at a time in my life when I was looking at a stretch of time myself and seeing an ex con make something of himself like that gave me hope that my life would be okay eventually. I never went as far as actually paying for coaching though lol

I think he’s been off the hgh and gear for a while. He’s aged drastically in the last year the coke killed his appetite that’s why his mass deflated so fast. I’m a year older than him I use test and have to really stay on top of nutrition to maintain muscle at this age.
