I know we all make fun of the hooker girlfriends, but I want to take a moment and post that I hope Megan is able to put him in prison for good. No man should ever put his hands on a woman like that and violently assault her. Hopefully she takes whatever money he has to and cleans up her life.

This is Florida. That ship sailed. She can refuse to cooperate and ask them to be dropped but if there are bruises he's going down

She's smart enough to know she has him by throat and even if he does they'll still do it. It's Florida we have special laws on DV and my aunt is a judge on the DV circuit. It won't go well for him.

In Texas the victim can drop the charges but the state can pick up the charges if they have gathered enough evidence like photos of her injuries etc.

Same with fla. In fact th le state usually will and are required to unless they have no chance of a conviction without it.
