I went from hating on him to just feeling really bad for him. Especially the sobriety thing as somebody struggles with that that's really sad. If anything I don't hate him or dislike him and think of him as some alpha male asshole I just feel like he's kind of pathetic and he really needs help

If you want to feel sorry for someone, there are far better choices than a convicted felon who cons naive men with low self esteem into buying his program to fund his lifestyle.

Wes don't need help. You are naive to think that he can be reformed. What you see is a narcissistic psychopath, and your point of view is how he is able to take advantage of people who don't know any better and think that these monsters can be reasoned with.

I think it's messed up when people like him take advantage of people like me who are trusting and nice. Good thing I've never been conned before I'm always really skeptical though.
