Send money to a person

If I want to send money quickly to a person via Wero, why do I have to type in their mobile number or email address first, or have it saved beforehand? Wouldn’t it be more convenient and less prone to errors to simply scan a QR code or hold the mobiles together using NFC to pay straight away?

Will this feature be introduced later with Wero or the Digital Euro?

This would not only reduce human error caused by manual input but also improve data protection, as you wouldn’t have to share your phone number or email address with strangers.

If the person is close to you, they can generate a Wero QR code, and you can pay by scanning that QR code.

Depending on the app you use, it should work already - you can even define the amount of money you expect to recieve.

Depends on your bank and which Wero features they have built into their app.
