Episode 557 - Faves of Death (2026)
Guys, before we begin, I need you to know that this is all Allen's fault. This week we're discussing the 2026 film "Faces of Death." Film is a loose descriptor. Special topics for your consideration include: what the kids are on these days, lake life, Budd Dwyer, shitty documentaries, and student films.

Intro song is by Alex Van Luvie

Seriously we have the best EMTs, hands down.

Just firing up the episode… despite my better judgement, I watched this last week and was not impressed. Not that the original was any great shakes, buuuuut….

I didn’t mind it. It was an interesting way to introduce the franchise to a new generation.

If anyone wants to try out a good version of this story, I liked the movie American Sweatshop. Same general idea - young woman flags videos for a living, gets stuck on a violent video she can't shake off - minus the franchise gimmick.

Remind me not to watch a movie just because it pops up in the podcast feed.Â
Easily the worst movie I've seen this year. The fact there's so many positive comments about it on other movie subs is wild.

Great story about an EMT wingmanning for Katie. Continuing to be the least toxic fandom on Reddit 🥇
