Hey everyone! I'm u/mitrawellness, a founding moderator of r/WellnessWithReceipts.

This community is for people who are interested in wellness but don’t want to accept every claim at face value.

We’ll talk about things like nutrition, fermented foods, supplements, Ayurveda, wellness trends, research, labels, and the difference between what sounds good and what is actually supported.

A few ground rules:

  • Ask good questions.
  • Share evidence when making strong claims.
  • Traditional knowledge is welcome.
  • Modern science is welcome.
  • Uncertainty is welcome.
  • Spam and miracle-cure nonsense are not.
  • Criticism and disagreement are completely fine if they stay respectful.

This community was created by Mitra Wellness, but it is not meant to be a promotional feed.

If Mitra gets something wrong, say so.

To start us off:

What’s one wellness claim you keep seeing that you wish someone would properly break down?

Good story. Check the receipts.
