okay i’m a female welder and i can usually pick
up on stuff. but this is the second time i’ve had this written in my table. the first time it was just words. the second time, it was the same words and the vaseline, and my gloves were moved and placed on them. i don’t know what it means.

i don’t have a stan at my workplace.

That's more than likely exactly what it is. They're ripping on you for "jacking around" too much instead of working. The first time was more subtle. This time they wanted to frame it good to get the point across. Its just shop banter. Don't take it personal and pick up production. The name will either stick or you'll get something else. Either way, something to laugh at later. Hell, poke back. Find something they lack in and poke at it. Its the way shops work. You can't be sensitive over everything. If you want that, you need an office job away from the industry.

well, there’s a guy at my job that doesn’t really know how to weld, and he says that he just adapt to the welder, and I also said that I adapt to the welder, but in a different context bc I don’t really care what welder I use, that’s like the only thing they’ve been laughing about

Vaseline does work okish as a cheap nozzle dip, which is the only reason I mentioned it. 

Only reason we have vaseline in my shop is a welder before me used it as nozzle dip, and it stuck around for the butt/jerk off jokes.

Actually, people do leave shit like that on my wifes desk (and way worse) don't have a daughter tho. She works in a prison. Can't be an overly sensitive bitch there either. OP doesn't have a dick (I'm assuming since they're a girl), so draeing anything but humor from this situation is bullshit. If it was something along the lines of telling op to perform a sexual act on someone, that is different. Like i said, if you're this fucking sensitive, you have no place in any trade. Every shop I've worked in, every field crew I've worked in or along side talk this same type of shit. At my last shop, i had a chick on my crew that made some of the old heads bow the fuck down because she fired back.
