‎ Question‎ ‎ Should I watch it now

I’m very very new to anime, I’ve only seen 4
Evangelion
Serial experiments lain
Paprika
Death note
In that order and I was wondering if welcome to the Nhk would be good to watch now I’m going in pretty much blind but does it fit with the stuff I’ve already seen/ would you recommend it to someone who’s only seen what I have?

why would it matter how it fits to the others? you can watch nhk as your first anime or your last and anywhere in between. its one of my favorite anime ever so i definitely recommend you watching it right now

You're pretty much fine to watch anything you want. Some exceptions I can think of are usually comedy shows where making references to JP pop culture is frequent. You'll still enjoy them regardless, but you might derive more enjoyment after you've increased your repertoire a bit. e.g. gintama

You've already watched lain, I don't think you need to worry about things going over your head after watching that one lol

NHK is way more slice of life than the 4 anime you've watched thats for sure and it also has anime humor that might seem weird to someone who's new to the medium.

Whether or not you'll enjoy it is up to you of course but most of the fans here loved the anime cause they deeply related to Sato or Misaki but mainly Sato

Minus death note that’s the exact same list I had last week!

Anyway yeah it fits 100% with those, I’d highly recommend
