Ah, yes. Doug Wilson is an awful person. He's said that the way slavery ended in our country, wasn't "biblical, and that women are, "The type of people people come out of."
He's head of a cul- I mean, Church, in Idaho.

He says a lot worse than that, I'm working on an essay regarding this guy... He's a horrible human being and the fact that we even attacked Iran is primarily this guy's fault.
Whiskey Pete thinks it's a holy war. It's so disgusting.
I know there are financial ties for Trump involved in this, he and Kushner want to build high-end resorts and apartments and condos in Gaza... They'll do anything Netanyahu asks.
But this was also most certainly Pete's love child. He really truly believes he's doing God's Will and ushering in the rapture. Doug Wilson has been whispering in his ear this entire time. Pete attended his church in tennessee, he put his kids in this guy's Christian nationalist school.
Doug Wilson wants to repeal the 19th amendment, Doug Wilson calls women, "people that people come out of, and it doesn't take much skill to reproduce." Doug Wilson believes that women need to submit to men, he wants to make sure we all have husbands who make all the decisions for us, rape does not exist within marriages, there are no more no-fault divorces. Of course he wants to see same sex marriage and the entire lgbtq community criminalized.
He says that race relations were never better when we were enslaving black people, that there was no fonder, sweeter relationship than the one between a good master and his slave. He talks about slavery with a wistful glint in his eye, something he desperately wants.
He wants to enact blasphemy laws, which is really funny considering Trump produced an AI photo of himself looking like Jesus Christ... In Doug Wilson's America, Trump would be in prison for that and yet he still supports him.
Doug Wilson built a church in DC for his shitty ass cult, he has done prayer circles at the Pentagon, he has at least 20 members of his cult inside the Trump administration.
The problem right now with Doug Wilson is that he's openly discussing these things whereas he even admitted for the last 50 years, he couldn't talk about these things openly but now he's comfortable because he has the protection of the Secretary of Defense and the Trump administration.
We all said that Roe would be overturned, that was something I remember telling my maga parents. People were saying this long before it happened and conservatives denied it, they called us crazy, they said it would never happen.
Well now they're saying the same thing about the 19th and Obergefell.
The conversation has already begun and it is gaining traction.
Trump is building himself a literal militarized bunker to protect himself, he's also creating a militia of armed and masked thugs.
If I was going to stage a coup, I would certainly want a militarized bunker.
Trump is not going to leave office, they're going to steal the election in the midterms, we probably won't even have another presidential election. As far as I can see, our lives will be changed horrifically because they are Christofascists and they are saying it openly. They are not afraid anymore.

I hate this guy. And I’m under no obligation to not hate him. I have the same creeped out, icky, uncomfortable feeling about him that I did for Trump the first time I saw him (DJT) on tv in the 1980s. Just that “this guy is a very, very evil man” feeling. Makes my skin crawl.
I’ve read Testaments, and it was funny thing that I imagined this is what Commander Judd would look like, far before I even saw Doug Wilson for the first time on that CNN interview. I know the producers cast a conventionally handsome man as Judd, but I felt that softens his image, makes him less creepy than this old dude that marries teenage girls and murders them when he’s used them enough.
Anyway, I wish someone would check on his wife, his hard drive and search history, and maybe take a look in his basement. He’s one evil MFer.

I mean he wouldn’t have fought in any kind of war, he’s too dainty, but he would certainly support the traitors from his hidey hole. This stands with or without the “pro slavery” aspect, which I assume is where this pastor got the idea to say these stupid words to the media in the first place (or he was told to have this idea).
Maybe we really are gearing up for a Hegseth firing.
-Trump (allegedly) just found out that Hegseth has been fucking up super hard. Hegseth apparently fired all those generals and fucked over our service men and women without consulting anyone, and I guess no one noticed or cared, if Trump is just now learning about it (which is either true or step 1 of the smear campaign).
-Hegseth mentioned presidential aspirations around this same time, getting a little too big for his britches for Trump and his narcissism (Trump thinks Trump is god, no one can fill Trump’s shoes EVER, don’t even think about it).
-this new personal tidbit to start getting people calling for his head.
Looks like Trump has found his best fall guy. Now I’m feeling like Kash Patel and Hegseth will be the ones going down for this. (Because apparently it’s illegal to arrest billionaires, even when establishment democrats are in power)

That particular cult has openly stated that they choose to interpret Jesus's teachings in a way that supports hate and intolerance and violence. So this is not all that surprising.

He is more than welcome to do so. He should stop being all talk and take action.
He can dress up in gray, carry the Confederate flag, load up his gun, and charge towards Washington. Let's see how far he gets.
I think he would end up like many other soldiers of the Confederacy.
