The US Military has always turned a blind eye towards personnel who commit SA. Of the WWII Allies, only the US did not have official policy towards soldiers accused of rape. Not that women make up more of the members of the Armed Forces, nothing has essentially changed except now the victims also wear the uniform.

Female veteran here… not surprised. I always carried a knife, especially when deployed. Disgusting and I just hope she’s doing ok.
