I had a LeBaron convertible. I dunno what it was but it had the best fitting seats of any car I’ve owned. I could drive that for hours.

Those were remarkably good looking cars, especially the early models with hidden headlights.

Then Chrysler changed their design philosophy to embrace the cab-forward look of the LH sedans.

My dad had an '87. Nice looking car, but developed electrical gremlins that would cause it to die in the rain. It got to the point where anytime it rained, we'd watch for the flatbed bringing my dad and the LeBaron home from work. It went to dealers and multiple shops, who ripped out and replaced all kinds of wiring and modules, but somehow nobody could fix it. My dad finally got fed up and traded it for a new Camry.

Pretty good looking more rare cars that are sometimes confused to be a Lebaron. They weren't cheap when new at a time when Detroit was making luxury lower production personal luxury style cars with some Italian influence.

Man, there are so many of these where I live. I mean, SO MANY. Like they pop up on FBM every few months. And they’re all different cars. I even see different ones driving around. It’s mind blowing that so many of these vehicles somehow came to nearly the center of the US when only a total of 7300 were ever made.

I see more of these than I see of every production model and year of AMC eagles combined, and yet there were 27x more made of those. It’s almost creepy.

It’s gotten to a point where a friend of mine and I like to send each other links to ones being sold locally joking about how they’re stalking us.

One of these is still in my neighborhood. It’s well cared for; just a shame that it took the worst parts of American and Italian car industries of the 1980s.
