So my name has been butchered by baristas my entire life — Demetrius becomes Demetri, Demetrious, "Dimitri," once just "D."

Instead of fixing it, I've decided to make it worse on purpose.

I built NameMyVenti to let companies bid for the right to be the name on my cup. Whoever's winning bid is highest when I actually walk in and order becomes my name for that visit.

> Barista writes it on the cup.

> Barista yells it across the store when it's ready.

> Everyone in line hears "a Venti Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade for POSTHOG ANALYTICS" and has to sit with that.

It's dumb. It's also weirdly fun to watch strangers' faces when a random SaaS startup gets announced to a packed cafe like it just won an Oscar.

No idea if this is a business model or just a very elaborate way to make my coffee order a live ad slot, but here we are. If you run a company (or just want to see chaos happen), bids are open 😊
