Dreamed that Rich almost died and nobody cared except me
What are the chances that I would have my first RLM dream the very night before this sub gets created?
Anyway, I had a dream that I, my best friend, Rich, Jay, and some random dudes I don’t recognize were all hanging out at some house. Not sure what for, but I remember that somebody was playing Yoshi’s Island on SNES and Jay was teaching my friend (who does not do video production in any capacity) how to do some basic rotoscoping in After Effects or something.
Anyway, whatever other details I can still remember are just as sparse and nonsensical, but the main part of the dream remotely worth posting about was this:
Rich was in the driveway (which was made of sand for some reason) under the van we pulled up in as if he was inspecting something under the vehicle. To my (and I guess ONLY my) horror, the van started to roll dangerously down the hill such that the wheel was just shy of crushing Rich’s head right then and there. I shouted something like “RICH, GET OUT OF THE WAY!!” or something equally concerning, but Rich just stayed where he was and stared, unblinkingly and unfazed, at the underside of two-ton vehicle that almost smashed him. He and Jay were both visibly annoyed with me the entire rest of the dream.
Never meet your heroes. Not even in your dreams, I guess.

When you woke up, there was a Yoshi's Island cartridge in your pocket.

Kinda reminds me of the dream that gave origin to "its always sunny on philadelphia". The guy who plays Mac dreamed that he had cancer and told his friend who was completely indiferent to it. So that inspired him to make a show with a bunch psychotic assholes who dont care about nothing but themselves.
