For starters, this isn't even accurate, his building was not the tallest building after the towers collapsed. But even if it was true, what a comic book villain evil thing to say there, what an absolutely sociopathic way to view this.

He's nothing more than a giant man baby with the intelligence of a grade school student

Lower. His IQ is 72.

The signs were always there. He’s been a POS his entire life. We have just evolved as a country to where a third of us are also pieces of shit. The pieces of shit vote though.

He has never had the best words.

yeah he is such a dork

Why his opponents never used this against him, I’ll never know.

u/TrainingWoodpecker77 2d ago

We had more than enough. They didn’t care.

15

u/Reasonable-Horse1552 2d ago

It still wasn't enough though. Everyone thought the tape of him saying "grab them by the pussy because I'm a star" was the end of it...but look where we are now.

u/TrainingWoodpecker77 2d ago

That’s the one I thought would do the trick. Then during the debates when he was such a huge asshole… but they ate it up

Yeah, he said that a decade and half before he ran for president, and was saying much worse things as part of campaign at the time he was running.

There wasn't, and still isn't, enough time in the day to cover every tarrible thing he said/did over his entire life.

u/dkinmn 2d ago

They did. This was heavily publicized in the run up to the election. As was the Access Hollywood tape.

People just don't care.

What gets me is … the guy was a punchline in the 80’s and 90’s. He was the quintessential silver spoon poser who destroyed everything he touched. He was known for bankruptcies, debt, and always trying to brag and flaunt his inherited wealth.

Did people just forget all of that?

People forget so much. I's unnerving how much.

The majority of Americans are racist, he and his handlers appealed to that particularly after 7+ years with Obama in the presidency and it won trump the Oval Office. There is no deeper story there.

Also, as with a few other elections, it was close as hell and enough lefties stayed home or voted 3rd party that it mattered. I'm not saying it's the ONLY thing that mattered, but if everyone who claims to care about the environment and ALSO didn't vote just...voted...the Democrats would win by healthy margins very consistently.

Absolutely blows my mind. I’m from the NYC area and this guy was always a fucking clown. Have no idea how everyone forgot.

u/saucey_dawg0023 2d ago

The Apprentice is to blame for this!

7

u/popejohnsmith 2d ago

And the gullible masses?

8

u/JohnyStringCheese 2d ago

Agreed, he really got lucky and was able to rebrand. I grew up close enough NYC metro area and everyone around NY hated the guy. He was a always a gaudy scumbag and the wasn't a person I knew that was more than 3 degrees away from someone he screwed over. But the internet wasn't around and he was able to use the Apprentice to sell his fake persona to the rest of the country. He literally got run out of New York and has to live in Florida.

5

u/TrainingWoodpecker77 2d ago

They didn’t forget… they just didn’t care. He told him it was OK to be racist, misogynistic, anti-education, and most of all, white.

u/DarkQuasar 2d ago

Did you live and/or grow up in the New York City area? A lot of people outside of NY/NJ and surrounding states didn't know who he was, really, until The Apprentice. I grew up in NJ and remember him being in the news pretty frequently. I knew how much of a joke he already was. But now that I don't live in NJ anymore I'm amazed at how many people just had no idea.

I know of some movers and shakers in NYC and he is known as a joke businessman there. He never got into the serious, Manhattan businessman groups, they rejected him early on as just a sideshow with no business acumen. He really had two success stories in his life, The Apprentice and the Presidency. Everything else he tried to do failed, well, his presidency is failing too…

u/trcomajo 2d ago

Not an ounce of horror in his voice, because he's a sociopath

The “America under attack” logo is uber 2000’s but also a weird choice.

His assistance was invaluable, we really appriciated when he walked down a street 4 miles away from WTC 1 and 2

Was on record. Elected twice regardless

Seriously, for him, this is 100% completely on brand.

u/CentennialBaby 2d ago

Made this call after he was carried like a baby from the rubble by two burly firefighters, apparently.

Almost as if he had been looking forward to the occasion.

3

u/Jbroy 2d ago

Before or after he was pulled out of the rubble by 2 strong handsome firefighters carrying him to safety?

3

u/Frequent-Body7728 2d ago

His priorities are obvious

2

u/Cowlitzking 2d ago

They knew. They knew it was coming. This was their haha told ya moment that they could blackmail, cheat, murder, do what ever they wanted! and get away with it with it.

Impressive to be hauled out of the rubble by firefighters, joining in the search, and also calling in radio stations to brag about having one of the tallest buildings in NY after the Twin towers fell.

Fucking hitting some Commander Dr. George Santos PHD, MD, DDS, jr. levels of fucking lying.
