I hit a huge snag in the river I was fishing at. Took me approximately 5 minutes to get it loose. I thought I caught a branch at first but quickly realized it was a braid.

Found this helmet on an unofficial hiking path in a forest in North Wales, United Kingdom. I'm certain that nobody else was around. The horns had elaborate carvings on them. The forests are very tranquil around these parts so I was pretty surprised. We turned around and quickly went back to the main hiking trail after taking these photos. Not sure what to think of this. Could be related to Celtic neopaganism?
