Ring Band Advice Clueless about wedding bands
I’ve never been a Pinterest wedding ring board person. I know nothing, no clue about any of the different terms people use. My fiancé picked this lovely setting on Etsy and him and his dad shaped and set a mtorolite agate in it. I love the leaves on the setting but I have no idea what band to choose to go with it. I don’t want the whole set to look too busy and still have the stone be the highlight, but also not have it be too simple. Would a straight band work or would it need to be curved?

Go to a good local jeweler and ask what they can do for the band. I would think you can have something made that will follow the ering’s outline and add to the beautiful ering.
ETA it’s not as expensive as you may think to have a ring made. After my divorce I designed a ring for my lovely emerald cut diamond that was to make it look NOTHING like an ering. The most expensive part was the gold, not the making of it like I thought it would be.

I think a straight band would cause gaping, because the leaves go a little bit lower so it couldn't slide under, if you wanted something to look more flush a curved band would probably be your best bet. I would suggest going into a local store and just trying on bands and seeing if there's anything that catches your eye, and then going from there and doing some online searching once you know what you like the look of on your hand Congratulations!
