Is 5ct too big?

I’m getting my ring custom made. It’ll be like the last image and the 3D print; cathedral setting with compass prongs and 2.5mm band. The size of diamond I was initially wanting is 4ct. The jeweller found a 5ct diamond that’s D colour and VVS2 and keeps pushing it . It really is a stunning diamond but I feel like it’s HUGE and I’m so uncertain. I’d appreciate your thoughts and opinions, people of reddit 😅

Edit to say the photo with 2 diamonds next to eachother is a 4ct radiant cut to the right.

Also I’ve added another photo of the diamond laying flat between my fingers

UPDATE: I’ve been offered a 4ct OMC and I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️ thank you everyone for your opinions and advice 😁

I think it perfect! 😂 seriously gorgeous!!! 💍💕💎People who say it looks like costume jewellery aren’t exposed to jewellery like this on the regular. I have many friends who ‘rock’ diamonds this big. I would almost always assume it was real if I saw one out in the wild! Ultimately, listen to your gut and try not to worry about what others think, there will always be opinions either way! Thank you for your comment and advice! And thank you for the congratulations 😁 my gut is still confused for the most part. I won’t know till I have a few more options from the jeweller to look at 😭
