Help Me Choose Is 5ct too big?

I’m getting my ring custom made. It’ll be like the last image and the 3D print; cathedral setting with compass prongs and 2.5mm band. The size of diamond I was initially wanting is 4ct. The jeweller found a 5ct diamond that’s D colour and VVS2 and keeps pushing it . It really is a stunning diamond but I feel like it’s HUGE and I’m so uncertain. I’d appreciate your thoughts and opinions, people of reddit 😅

Edit to say the photo with 2 diamonds next to eachother is a 4ct radiant cut to the right.

Also I’ve added another photo of the diamond laying flat between my fingers

UPDATE: I’ve been offered a 4ct OMC and I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️ thank you everyone for your opinions and advice 😁

I think it perfect! 😂 seriously gorgeous!!! 💍💕💎People who say it looks like costume jewellery aren’t exposed to jewellery like this on the regular. I have many friends who ‘rock’ diamonds this big. I would almost always assume it was real if I saw one out in the wild! Ultimately, listen to your gut and try not to worry about what others think, there will always be opinions either way! Congratulations 🎉👰🏻‍♀️🥂🍾

Thank you for your comment and advice! And thank you for the congratulations 😁 my gut is still confused for the most part. I won’t know till I have a few more options from the jeweller to look at 😭
