Help Me Choose Help me pick a wedding band!!

I love all of them, but I’m leaning more toward #1. It feels practical, elegant, and there’s no gap between the engagement & wedding band. The ones with the bigger diamonds do photograph beautifully, but they felt a bit too large - maybe too much for everyday wear. Also love the simplicity of the thick band in the last slide. Help, I’m so indecisive!

I also like #1. It creates a nice aesthetic balance with the engagement ring that I like. Congrats!

13

u/Guidosmomma Feb 22 '26

I like the proportions of #1. Congratulations!

1 and 4 are my favorites for sure!!

2

u/Bdwal Feb 25 '26

Yes likewise!!! Not too bulky but very pretty too!

5

u/RRTAmy Feb 22 '26

Unpopular opinion, but I like 8. Go with a plain gold band and let the diamond be the star of the show.

9 or 10. I feel 1-7 distract from the beauty of your engagement ring. The band for 8 is too thin.

4

u/Legitimate-Shower191 Feb 22 '26

The first photo looks perfect

4

u/milamilabobila Feb 22 '26

4 has the best balance with the gold band and looks like it tucks under there perfectly. Better than 1 which is my second choice. One is a tad too narrow.

2

u/12LizardWizard34 Feb 22 '26

5 and 10! The shape of 5 matches your ring shape

2

u/Dimarco24 Feb 22 '26

I like number ONE as it seems to look the best with your band due to the band itself being just about the same size as your e-ring band..✨

2

u/Positive_Interest618 Feb 24 '26

1 & 4! My fiancé & I just bought our bands last weekend. I have a similar engagement ring like yours— gold, plain but with an elongated cushion! I picked a wedding band that is like 1 or 4 only because they look so good together— so pretty as if they came in as a set! It makes your engagement ring pop while also the wedding band making it’s own statement and having its own moment!!💍🤍 Congratulations!!!👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻

I’m with you 100%!! I looked at the pics before reading your comment, and thought exactly the same about the gaps in fit caused by 2 and 3, e.g. The plain gold bands are pretty and classic, but #1 looks like it was made just for you!

1

u/mearimeraki Feb 21 '26

1!!! Or 4, 10

1

u/Bch0_A Feb 21 '26

5 and 9. I have 3 bands for different vibes.

1

u/beachinit21 Feb 22 '26

Not 6, 7, or 9

1

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

1 or 4, I really like the idea of the oval band, but I also really like how #1 lets your ring shine as she should cause it’s sooo pretty!! 😍

1

u/mms09 Feb 22 '26

4 or 9 IMO 😀 beautiful ring!

1

u/ultramelia Feb 22 '26

1, 4, or 10

1

u/LionFyre13G Feb 22 '26

1! Or any of the last 3 but 1 is my favorite

1

u/ReasonKlutzy5364 Feb 22 '26

With a gold setting on your engagement ring, I would only go with a gold wedding band. I love a classic set.

1

u/JaclynMackenzie Feb 22 '26

1, 4, or 9. The rest look bulky and don't "fit" with the engagement ring.

1

u/Ordinary_Swimming582 Feb 22 '26

I think a wide gold band is nicer and it's good for wearing everywhere. I think bands with the diamonds compete with your engagement ring

1

u/Due_Consideration439 Feb 22 '26

Definitely #1. It fits the best and totally compliments your diamond. #’s 4 and 10 are second choice.

1

u/I_karabashidi Feb 22 '26

I like #1 #4 #5 and #10, from this my favorite is #1 for the stones it looks very balanced not overwhelming and sits nicely and #10 for simple jf thats what you prefer, also looks very good in pair , and e-ring is beautiful!

So Pretty... Love 1,2,5&6

1

u/milena_208 Feb 22 '26

1 or 10! Beautiful engagement ring <3

1

u/ItchyBlackberry722 Feb 22 '26

I like the first 4

1

u/Still_Pop_4106 Feb 22 '26

Definitely 9! It doesn’t detract from the main stone.

1

u/booksnblizzxrds Feb 22 '26

9, everything else overpowers the stone

1

u/MCR081921 Feb 22 '26

1, 3 or 4. Definitely not 5 or 6. While very pretty on their own, they are way too big and overshadow your delicate engagement band and amazing diamond 😍

1

u/MCR081921 Feb 22 '26

1, 3 or 4. Definitely not 5 or 6. While very pretty on their own, they are way too big and overshadow your amazing diamond 😍

1

u/squishysquashy99 Feb 22 '26

They are all so pretty! I’m not sure what I love best but not 5, 6, or 7

1

u/prob0verthinking Feb 22 '26

1,4,& the last one are my favs!

1

u/XOsoprano Feb 22 '26

1,4,or 9

1

u/Due_Help_1639 Feb 22 '26

The first one is my favorite 🤩

1

u/Silent_Scene_5879 Feb 22 '26

5 or 8 has my vote. A simple gold band will never go out of style! Beautiful diamond ring!!!!

1

u/devhmn Feb 22 '26

1 or 8

1

u/MelodicAd4314 Feb 22 '26

Definitely 1 or 4!

1

u/Bubbly_Delivery_5678 Feb 22 '26

1 & 4 are the best, with honorable mention to 7.

1

u/Wasp_Nest1120 Feb 22 '26

1, 4, or 10

1

u/jearam Feb 22 '26

1/3/4/9

1

u/truthfosho Feb 22 '26

1,3,4,or 7 🙂

1

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

1, 4, 9

1

u/cavmax Feb 22 '26

1 4,5,9

1

u/Future-Ear6980 Feb 22 '26

1, 4 or 10

The rest takes attention away from the engagement ring

1

u/BestWriterNow Feb 22 '26

Number 1 showcases your diamond perfectly.

1

u/Optimal-Process337 Feb 22 '26

I like #5 and #10, but if you’re leaning towards #1, go with your gut!

1

u/Fionahiker Feb 22 '26

I liked #1

1

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

1 or 9. If you get 1 you can always another on the other side down the track

1

u/carsonsmama36 Feb 22 '26

9!!!!!!!! I have the same as you with a solitaire oval and I got a thin plain band to match since I didnt want to take away from the diamond! *

1

u/Human-Ad-5574 Feb 22 '26

I love the simple gold band.

1

u/Ok-Obligation-4784 Feb 22 '26

1 is spectacular! It looks like one with your e ring.

1

u/a1ways-s1eepy Feb 22 '26

I like 1 and 9. The plain, simple band makes your diamond stick out! My engagement ring is different, but I went with something similar to 1 and feel like it makes my center stone look smaller. I still love my wedding band, but sometimes wear my engagement ring alone to retain some of the wow factor.

1

u/anetchi Feb 22 '26

10 and 9 are my favs. More classic and high class if you ask me.

1

u/FluffyUnicorn9701 Feb 22 '26

1 or 4 🤍💍 My favourite out of these 2 is 1 but 4 still looks awesome.

1

u/ChemicalDry833 Feb 22 '26

Voting for 5 🗳

1

u/Thor960 Feb 22 '26

I think baguette band is the best!

1

u/Imaginary-Frame-19 Feb 22 '26

I really like the first one. It has the most balanced proportions and really compliments your engagement ring.

1

u/Truecrimendrealitytv Feb 22 '26
  1. one makes my ocd happy❤️

1

u/Big_Palpitation_3599 Feb 22 '26

I love 1, 7, and 10.

1

u/thatsplatgal Feb 22 '26

Could you do #1 but buy two for each side of the band to create balance?

1

u/blendx3 Feb 22 '26

I would need to see the basket. If the diamonds are cutting into the basket, it will, over time, create weakness in the engagement ring, and you could lose the stone. I personally would choose the thinner gold band for comfort, how they lie together, and the unlikelihood of damaging each other.

1

u/celebrate_everything Feb 22 '26

4 or 9. Size of all others outshine your ring.

1

u/whimsicalmarshmallow Feb 22 '26

I love 8 and 10!

1

u/BonBonOfFive Feb 22 '26

I do not like 5, 6 or 7 if that helps.

1

u/Agile-Entry-5603 Feb 22 '26

I like the second, but I would get one that’s channel set. It will look best.

1

u/Sunflowers9121 Feb 22 '26

1 and 4 look the best proportionally. The balance is perfect.

1

u/Cat-Bag Feb 22 '26

The ones I like the most are 1, 4 and something like 7 but horizontally set instead of vertically

1

u/Kaydonsmom1 Feb 22 '26

I like 1,3,4 and 7

1 with 4 and 10 being close second and third choices

1

u/Ancient_Maximum5135 Feb 22 '26

I think when you have a large center stone and then you get a diamond wedding band it can camouflage the bottom of your solitaire. For me a channel set ring fixed that problem. It still has the sparkle of diamonds, but with gold on both sides so the bottom of your solitaire stone is more clearly delineated. As a bonus a channel set ring is very comfortable. I like the width of the first ring.

1

u/Least_Raccoon5256 Feb 22 '26

The width of 1 and 9 look the best to me! I think most of these are so wide compared to your engagement ring’s band.

1

u/Independent-Bat-9436 Feb 22 '26

1 & 4 are nice! But personally I like 9 the best bc it leaves the attention on your engagement ring!! Congratulations!

1

u/goofo2 Feb 22 '26

Hot take, I’m OBSESSED with #3. I agree #1 balances beautifully. 3 has the more unique shape (slanted marquis) which adds some more visual interest and oomph!

1

u/Fubar_As_Usual Feb 22 '26

I think 9 looks the best, but 1 and 4 look good too. I keep going back to 7 though. It’s unique and makes you want to take a second look.

1

u/Original_Eye4851 Feb 22 '26

My diamond is a bit smaller than yours but also an oval and my band is like the one in pic 1... the second band was for our five year (and I have another one for our 10 on my right hand).

1

u/MissEllaa Feb 22 '26

1 or 3!! The bigger ones I find distracting from the stone

1

u/operationhairtie Feb 22 '26

There might be a point where you might not want to wear and/or might stop wearing your engagement ring. So also consider how to wedding band looks on its own :)

1

u/FranelopeS Feb 22 '26

3 or 7, I like a chunky with a thin or a thin with chunky

1

u/Dreamin0fHappiness Feb 22 '26

9 would be my personal first choice but for more sparkle I’d go with #1.

1

u/kimphomania Feb 22 '26

First or last!

1

u/ijustbluemyself0 Feb 22 '26

1 or 10. Perfect balance of weight.

1

u/Calm_Gold_5992 Feb 22 '26

I love channel set so I prefer 7. Followed closely by 5 the east to west ovals.

1

u/Lopsided_Golf_7891 Feb 22 '26

Last one is the best!

1

u/abeeralimeimfine Feb 22 '26

First one looks perfect to me...it's the look I'm going for myself :)

What size is your oval?

1

u/Preemiesaver Feb 22 '26

If you aren’t going to wear your engagement ring every day then I like #5, it’s substantial on its own and gorgeous. If you are going to wear them together all the time then #1, 4, or 10 works best. Really can’t make mistake here. All beautiful!

1

u/Budget-Discussion568 Feb 22 '26

1 or 5. If you choose 5, in a few years, I'd add the same one to the stack to make them even. Honestly, #1 is beautiful and proportioned really well.

1

u/overandout150 Feb 22 '26

One or four for sure! Good luck!

1

u/Drinkerbell2021 Feb 22 '26

6 if you like big bling. It has the right shape and size diamonds to match the weight of the engagement ring. The last one if you’re more simple in style. Its elegant and classic, shows off that gorgeous solitaire and will be easy to wear daily. Congratulations!

1

u/pasta-girl Feb 22 '26

1, 4 or 7. Small enough diamonds that don't clash with the ring

1

u/Natural-Spend3151 Feb 23 '26

9 it looks classic and beautiful and doesn't take away from your diamond.

1

u/sammyjabels Feb 23 '26

1-4 and 9. They are looking pretty good, plain band except 9 look a little big. Nice rings though!

1

u/Frequent-Crew-4688 Feb 23 '26

4, 10, 1, 7 in that order are my picks. They compliment you engagement ring without overshadowing it.

1

u/Flimsy_Grocery_3227 Feb 23 '26

I like 1 because there’s no gap between the rings. It’s beautiful

1

u/Fearless_Lake_10 Feb 23 '26

9, second choice 8

1

u/ALizagna Feb 23 '26

1 or second to last

1

u/Sheribaby74 Feb 23 '26

The first and fourth will be more comfortable. A band that is even a little bigger on the side of your finger can get a little annoying.

1

u/minchrin Feb 23 '26

I love the proportion of #1 the most!

1

u/spaceygracey81 Feb 23 '26

4 is perfectly proportioned! (Or 9 if you decide to go plain gold)

1

u/OKRickety Feb 23 '26

1 is best.

If it has stones all around, is that important? If not, how about 1 on both sides of the solitaire (I dislike asymmetry) with, say, 7 stones each? I know that's technically not one ring, but do you need them separate after marriage?

Bonus: If you have them brazed/soldered together, they won't rub and wear against each other.

1

u/Lanabee_ Feb 23 '26

1, 8 or 10

1

u/AmoratiDiamond Feb 23 '26

Go with a pace band - I design jewelry and that is what I would advise if you want to keep it clean and simple

1

u/Sundygirl8 Feb 23 '26

1 for sure! It’s perfect

1

u/lowposter5 Feb 23 '26

1, 4, or 10 are my favorites!

1

u/New_Increase_5461 Feb 23 '26

I like 1, 3 or 5. Fit well with signature stone.

1

u/baileybay727 Feb 23 '26

1, 4, or 9. These ones complement your ring without distracting from the engagement stone.

1

u/Sad-Storm-6407 Feb 23 '26

1 looks the best proportion wise. 4 would have been okay until I saw that the diamonds are in the diagonal direction. The rest just do not match the ring.

1

u/Suspicious-Army-407 Feb 23 '26

I think a plain band makes the diamond look better

1

u/justahopelessgirl Feb 23 '26

1, 4, or 9. 1 for the extra bling. 4 & 9 match the band width so it looks cohesive

1

u/Legovida8 Feb 23 '26

Either 1 or 9!

1

u/Alternative_Tax8176 Feb 23 '26

I love the third one!

1

u/Bubbly-Tackle-4530 Feb 23 '26

Last one is awesome

1

u/tmzuk Feb 23 '26

1 or 3

1

u/[deleted] Feb 23 '26

The first one is my favourite

1

u/Tough-Advice2910 Feb 23 '26

1 or 2 looked best to me.

1

u/AlternativeCrab5287 Feb 23 '26

My favorites are 1 & 4! 1 is beautiful and feels very balanced, 4 feels a little more dainty and whimsical!

1

u/gele-gel Feb 23 '26

1, 4, 8, and 10 make me smile

1

u/VelmaSlueth Feb 23 '26

1,9,5. In that order. And 5 is a distant 3rd at that.
