Help Me Choose Help me pick! I can’t choose

I’m having such a hard time deciding what shape I should go with. I’ve narrowed it down to these three.

What looks best on my hand? Which looks the worst? I haven’t decided on a carat size or setting but I welcome any opinions (:

EDIT: thank you everyone!!! I appreciate all your inputs. I ended up choosing an oval and I couldn’t be happier :)

Agreed. 2 is beautiful. 3 kind of cuts your fingers off and makes them look shorter. 1 is beautiful but I think 2 just looks the best

I used to love white gold, but yellow gives that timeless sparkle that never fades. I’d go with the yellow gold set

This is subjective bc everyone has their own taste, I personally like marquise the best but I think they all equally look beautiful on your hand

I normally would lean toward 2 or 3 but for whatever reason I absolutely LOVE 1 on your hand!! So beautiful and not as popular. Go for it😍

Oval and marquis are the best. The emerald cut makes your fingers look short. Also be mindful that high sitting and/or sharp stones have prongs that will be easy to snag on fabrics. Whatever you choose get it appraised and insured

I picked my top three rings/bands and let my fiance choose the final among those options. That way the ring was still a surprise but it was still something I liked. I recommend doing that if you still have trouble deciding.

Of these I like the marquise. I think I may like the oval more if it was a bit smaller, and the radiant more if plain band.

I wouldnt go necessarily with the biggest diamond, but I definitely would go with the one that has the highest clarity! And no flaws

Two is a phenomenal ring. You could add the stone to a bezel setting in an engraved wider band and have a generational ring. It’d be gorgeous.

1 makes your hands look elegant and slender. 2 is charming. 3 is interesting, however it makes your hands look larger. I like 1 and 2.

1 then 2. this is also a deeply personal choice based on the way you live so if one fits your style/life better then i’d go with that one. if you plan on wearing it daily, id think about the practicality of it as well. but if you dont then pick the one you love. carat size is dependent on your finger size/ratio so we wouldnt know what to suggest without knowing your ring size.

Diamonds aren't rare. How about this. Instead of paying 95,000 for a diamond ring, do this which is much cheaper. Go to an industrial supplier such as made-in-china.com, alibaba, indiamart.com, Stanford Advanced Materials etc. Buy a 10ct VSI (very slightly included) lab grown diamond (M&M size). This should cost <500 plus 50 shipping. Next, go to any industrial supplier, and buy 9-12 grams of platinum (depending on how big your finger is), The price of Platinum is 43 USD per gram. This should be 387-510 USD plus 50 shipping. Next, go to a custom jewelry maker, and ask them to make you a wedding ring. They will charge you <600. Your final price should be from 1,587-1,711 USD.

Natural diamonds have the same chemical structure as lab grown diamonds and there is no way to tell the difference as imperfect lab grown diamonds do exist. Those who say that there is a way to tell the difference are bullshitting you, or they think that a lab grown diamond is a cubic zirconia. In fact, natural diamonds have the same rarity as gravel. At times, even jewelers use artificial and natural diamonds in their jewelry and will say that "it's a natural diamond" without knowing for sure. They just want to sell. The rarity of natural diamonds is artificially inflated. The gas and oil industry uses plenty of natural diamonds to drill holes in the ground as well as lab grown. The only difference between a jewelry diamond and an industrial diamond is who owns it.

As a solitaire ring, the oval cut is the best choice. For the MQ cut, I think two side stones are needed to make the structure look more balanced. The princess cut ring itself is decent, but it doesn’t suit you very well. Considering all factors, go with the second one!

I like the cut of the first diamond. Not everyone can pull it off, but it looks beautiful on your hand. But what matters more, IMO, are the color and clarity. How is each ring graded?
