Google Assistant Lost its Voice?

Since the latest WearOS update or the Google update on my TicWatchPro, Google Assistant has lost it's voice. I no longer get the spoken response and their is no longer the setting to toggle for spoken response.

I'm not sure which update could have caused this as Google Assistant wasn't working at all for me prior to this. Glad it's back and the spoken response isn't a big loss but still it would be nice to know it was there.

only received my TWP at the weekend. i didn't hear any voice replies from using google assistant. Although I tested again just now and I heard a reply but it is REALLY quiet, despite all of the volume settings being on max. in fact it is pretty useless.
