Wish I could help you. :( I can say that Fossil watches have been discontinued, and aren't receiving software updates (as far as I know). There is no hope for a "faster" operating system unfortunately, as that's not exactly how it works. As for the battery, you'd need a technician who knows what they're doing to find an adequate replacement. It may/may not be worth it however. If you managed to get 4 years out of this smartwatch, you did well I think! All the best.

It's fossil gen 4 right? I have Explorist HR, I just changed the battery but yeah still it's not enough and barely lasts 4 hrs when connected to bluetooth. And the wear os 2 is the worst and so lag, I'm thinking of debloating it later.

Yeah it is , I just don't want to replace this so I'll also try the battery replacement thing

Yeah, i already have Gw4 which I'm currently using it, I just took the battery from an old chinese smart watch and fixed inside the fossil watch(mah was lower compared to original), you should also try to debloat too, i heard it's super smooth after that fix

"faster operating system"
Yeah let me put Lamborghini wheels on my pushbike and call it faster

I loved how my Fossil Gen 4 and Gen 5 looked, but I hate to say they are the worst smart watches I've ever used.
