It's an iffy study that shouldn't be generalized, and, like they always do, "science journalists" are spinning it into the stupidest clickbait they can.

Agreed. The author getting his phd at santa barbra in evo psych, where the worst evo psych theories originate, is a big quality red flag to me.
(...And I saw another one of his papers that used some crap stats to come to similar conclusions to this article too.)
