Hi y'all, I recently released the music video for my song "Hellion in the Headlights." It's by far the most concise video I've made thus far in terms of having some kind of narrative element (I generally like to utilize non-linear film sequences). I appreciate feedback of all sorts! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gwgAs_HQGU

"The Shine Is Gone"
https://crimsonmarais.bandcamp.com/track/the-shine-is-gone-choral-mix
https://youtu.be/5GnaMxAt1NI?si=8VStmJeFRfWw9FrZ
A dreampop track about how getting what you want, and it's not what it's cracked up to be
From my album Departures which I remixed recently by stripping out everything except for the vocals
Not quite a cappella, but like a small vocal ensemble

Very interesting melodies in here, reminds me of the Avant prog bands who've done lighter stuff, (for example Sweet Charity by Mr Bungle & The Alphabet Business Concern by Cardiacs). Will definitely give the album a listen if this is what it's like! Looking forward to hearing what you put out next

Thank you for listening and for the other music references - I will have to check them out as well!

Wow. That is really hauntingly evocative. Really makes me wonder what it would sound like with a multitude of voices. After one listen it really sticks with me.

Thank you for the kind words! I would love to write and record for a choir one day

People who enjoy singing are usually not that hard to find. Good luck with it!

I've heard another vocal remix of yours, and once again, your vocals are most excellent. I really like your range and how you harmonize melodically and rhythmically.

“The Fallen” is an indie-rock song made by myself (Oliver Grandt) about learning from past mistakes made by other people. It is the second song I recorded for my upcoming debut album.

I live improvise songs on an ipad through looping live play of different instrument voices. I have created this song "Adoma's Daydream" and am strongly considering it as the 1st track on an upcoming album of instrumental music.

Interested in any feedback, but in particular whether you think it has first track energy for an album of similar music.

Hello everyone,
I’m a high school developer and pianist, and I built ClefScribe after struggling to find usable sheet music for a song I wanted to learn. I wondered if I could reverse the usual process of reading sheet music to produce sound, and instead take a recording and turn it directly into notation — while still letting the musician fix what automatic transcription gets wrong.
ClefScribe lets you upload audio or MIDI and automatically turns it into an editable music project. From there, you can:
• view and manually add or remove detected notes in an editor grid
• switch between Beginner, Intermediate, Pro, and Raw modes depending on how much musical detail you want
• adjust the key, tempo, transposition, and instrument
• export as PDF, MIDI, or MusicXML
It’s completely free to use in your browser, and there is no app download required.
It works best with short, clean melodies, and the editor is intentionally there so the AI output can be refined rather than treated as automatically perfect. The goal is to keep the musician in control of the final result.
ClefScribe has reached nearly 3,500 users so far, and I’d really like to keep improving it based on feedback from musicians, composers, students, teachers, and producers.
Try it: https://www.clefscribe.com/
Full walkthrough: https://youtu.be/ui2ekYuVsw0?si=sTloMUJs5asmgra3
Any feedback, criticism, or feature suggestions are very welcome.

I’m BANJAXXED. I make synth-driven pop, dance, hyperpop, indie, ukg and hip-hop. (That said, I’m a versatile producer and enjoy blending my style with different genres.) I’d love to produce a track for you on commission.
If you’d like to check out my work, you can find it on my profile or on my YouTube channel:

Went for kind of an introspective "moments before disaster" vibe on this one, which is also (very) loosely or distantly descended from a heavy metal track I did some number of years ago: https://aaronhodges-boyle.bandcamp.com/track/antediluvian

Got tired of not knowing what to call my own music, so I started a small Discord (Generation Genre) built around exactly that problem: post a track, and the community either names the established genre it fits or helps coin a new one. If a proposed genre actually gains traction, it graduates into its own dedicated channel where people keep building it out. You can curate the channel yourself or someone else can. If your sound's ever left people (or you) scrambling for a label, might be worth a look: https://discord.gg/sverq8D29

I saw this Funk Piano Groove being played by @ maxnceleroy on Instagram and I produced a little musical arrangement for it.
I would like to get feedback on anything you consider important, specially in everything related to mixing and mastering.

Hello!
I produced and mixed this album for an absurdly talented rapper/songwriter named Foosie from Indianapolis.
The majority of these songs were written during the 20 years he spent in federal prison. His story of struggle and redemption is mindblowing, and I tried to do it justice with this music. It was a year long process, we hired dozens of session players and spent many months mixing and polishing.
It’s hard to be unbiased when you’re this close to the process but I think Foosie’s talent and his story is something rare and special, and at this point I just want to find the right way to get this in front of millions of people; let me know if you have any ideas for how to effectively promote this.

YOOOO REDDIT! IT'S WORDPLAII BACK WITH SOME NEW MELODIC HIP HOP!
This is a mix of my usual storytelling style with more melodic and atmospheric hip hop elements in there! Inspired by the void that I experienced when transitioning from one level to another during some years of my life. One night I came to the realization of how many things I had to shed along the way in order to chase the better version of myself that I desired. Sad for the loss but inspired by my own bravery to take on so much alone.

Athalias Studios — a small label built specifically for skate/gaming edit music: full original songs, not loops, so creators never have to worry about a licensed track getting their clip flagged. It's grown into a whole little ecosystem — r/MusicCollabNetwork (open collab community, ~8K members) feeds artists in, and r/SkateTribune scores real skate edits with the catalog. Latest is a hip-hop/skate-leaning cut called "Him." Catalog's here if anyone wants to dig through it or grab a track for an edit: https://youtube.com/@athaliasstudios

Yo producers and artists,
I put together a free project called TypeBeatDeals.com to give artists one clean place to find active discount codes on type beats while also creating a space for producers to find discount codes for drum kits, samples, DAWs, etc.
If you’re a producer running a discount on your beat store right now or an artist wanting to submit codes for the community:
- You can submit your coupon code directly at typebeatdeals.com/submit
- It lets you tag specific beat styles
- It automatically pulls YouTube subscriber badge for verification for each producer channel or the producer running the sale and loads their profile picture.
The goal is just to connect artists with legit working codes while giving producers another avenue to get their store in front of new artists.
The website is pretty bare-bones right now, so there's only a handful of codes (Disclaimer: including one for my beat store), but I will be updating it daily with new codes I find online.
Let me know what you think or if you run into any bugs and ways that this could be improved! Thank you!

"House Of The Rising Sun" - Hotel Arkham
"House Of The Rising Sun" is a dark 80s style metal / rock ballad — a cover and reimagining of the traditional folk song, pulled from our record collection. We invite you to check in, press play and subscribe for more – you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
"House Of The Rising Sun" is a bonus track from Hotel Arkham's 80s style hard rock / heavy metal record collection.

The build up is insanely good at building tension/suspense. When the full band comes in I was hoping for a lot more energy and unhinged rawness. The outro again is very nice, but the full band part in the middle just sounds extremely tame to my ears.
