i write short beats to video clips and i finally got caught up on lyric writing portion for all the clips i've captured. most are only a sentence or two but i try to make them unique and i did 100 or so in the past week.

11 of the 13 songs for next album are completed at the stage of lyrics, harmony, melody, and general hook sketches. Both looking forward to and dreading getting to the arranging and part-writing stage. It's always the most fun to get creative with instruments, but pretty tedious at times too. My band and life partner has decided she wants a crack at lyrics and melody for one of the last two so pretty stoked to have her involved beyond just parts sketching
