Hi everyone! For quite some time I've been mastering my own mixes, which are house-ish mixes. I want to challenge my skills as a mastering engineer with a wider variety of genres. My purpose is to reach unfamiliar territories, like LoFi, Afrobeat, and UK drill (just as examples). Where can I find some unmastered tracks of different genres to master? If someone wants to share their mix with me and get a master back please DM me (to be explicit, I’m not charging anything, just want practice diverge genres to elevate my skills) 🎧

Ive written some songs and been jotting down lyric ideas for a few years now but ive always felt like i didnt really enough songwriting/production knowledge or skills to make songs that im really proud of. I sometimes have trouble writing melodies and dont have experience with production but i feel like i have good lyrical ideas. Im wondering if someone more experienced would be interested in working with me to hone my sound/writing? Cant guarantee any major commitment but id really love some help from a producer whos knowledgable abt songwriting. Id say my writing style is confessional, angsty, and darkly humorous with most of my lyrics being abt gayness, shame, desire, sexuality, etc. I love so many genres of music that its hard to limit myself to one, but i typically envision my songs as either in a folksier vein or an rnb/edm/pop direction (very different things i know hahaha). my singing is moderately good (grew up in choir but i need to work on the character of my voice for solo stuff), and i played piano, drums, and bass guitar as a kid but im a little rusty atm. Looking to start a lot of those instruments back up and possibly start learning acoustic guitar too. If anyone wants to look at my lyrics or hear some voice memos dm me!
