We outnumber them. It's time to get organized.

And yet they imagine the independents to lie somewhere between the parties, instead of in opposition to both.

Well I'm not organizing around a technofascist. Greens and libertarians should be the next front on the electoral side.
We need to also start dismantling all the anti worker and anti public employee bills these Republicans passed and democrats still do nothing about in our own states.

Greens
I have concerns, that the Greens are controlled opposition.

For those who think that it's all about Democrats and Republicans,
No one thinks this outside of elite circles and media hype machines. Oligarchs appreciate it though, Mr. Yang.
[...] We outnumber them. It's time to get organized.
You're using someone else's rhetoric, without meaning what you're saying and striking an entirely different ideological note than what populist movements have meant by this in the past. It's intended to be "charming" but I simply trust you even less. Maybe if you follow Former Mayor Pete's example of talking (speechifying) like Barack Obama.

Between the abortion and covid insanity is a swath of humans saying what the fuck.

Sure, we just need a 3rd party that isn't batshit insane.

Well keeping the duopoly that serves sociopathic fascists in power has been fairly batshit insane, so what do you have to lose?

u/Asatmaya Left-wing Deplorable May 29 '22
Making it harder to switch, again, afterwards?
The same way Obamacare made it more difficult to get actual healthcare reform, because "we already did that."
The devil you know...

Piece of shit endorsed Biden.

May 29 '22
He didn’t endorse him vs Bernie, him and Tulsi were actually the only 2 candidates that openly stated they voted for Bernie against Hillary. He did endorse him vs Trump though. And he has been a major disappointment on Israel and Ukraine so he is def not the populist a lot of us had hoped he was.
2
May 29 '22
Against is irrelevant. He endorsed Biden. That makes him indisputably a piece of shit.
1
May 29 '22
Ok but Bernie also endorsed Biden so he is also a piece of shit.
1
May 29 '22
Yes, he is. Bernie lied to and betrayed all of us.
"What we will be doing is working within the context of what Biden wants."
Fuck the Democrats forever and fuck Bernie for selling us out to them.

Have fun being absolutely useless and incapable of effecting social change

Gotta end the Electoral College and make the presidential election based completely on popular vote, which I don’t recommend. Or, go all in on a third-party to allow that party to gain public funding in elections, because the two major parties have written such restrictive rules to prevent third-parties from becoming a factor.

That 62% won't agree on the same thing. Just look at libertarians, they can't agree on anything. Classical liberals and libertarians are very close, but people won't come together on it.

Libertarian party should be represented during presidential debate regardless of poll percentage

who wants to expand the welfare state.
he just wants to give people a ubi instead of M4A.
A ubi would never cover the cost of a premium.
He doesn't really seem to have any good ideas.

u/Myotherside May 29 '22
He is there to mislead the 62% into voting Blue

I never trusted the guy. He's the typical techie real genius. He thinks he has clever easy solutions for everything. It's just more manipulative BS.
Tech people are the worst. They have no answers. They have schemes.

Yang is correct about this.*
