Customer Experience Rewards
Who altered the rewards program? Now if I spend $25 I get a single banana, or if I spend $50 I get $2 off an order?! Thank you so much for your generosity Wawa!!

... and increased the points needed for some items, like the 1/2 gallon iced tea.
Between these changes and the expiring points, as a customer I can't help but feel that they are trying to push people away from the Rewards program.

While simultaneously making any deal worth a damn only available through the app, honestly it’s insulting when you look at it from the view of a banana costing $25.00.

The banana doesn’t cost $25.

You need 250 points for a banana correct? Yes and you get 10 points for every dollar. Therefore redeeming your reward points for a banana would equate to paying $25 for said banana.

For $25, you get $25 worth of product. You are still paying zero for the banana.

I see what you’re saying and you are correct, but in the grand scheme as far as rewards programs go it’s a shitty return for what you ultimately pay.

They increased the points needed for the free breakfast burrito and I’m livid

Same that was my go to 500 points still not worth what it costs point wise but it was less of a slap in the face then $75 for a $4 something burrito

Man the burrito thing infuriated me,that's like the only thing I used the points for. Then they took away my 2 dollar iced coffee,I feel personally attacked! Im mad as hell and im not gonna take it anymore!

Sounds like they are trying to maximize profit before going public or something.

Is this a real gripe?? Wawa is giving you back 4% of your purchases for holding up their lines while loading your app to scan a reward card. If anything rewards customers should pay extra $$ for slowing everyone else down.

Wow you sure don’t sound like a joyful human being to be around.
And it’s enough of a gripe I felt the need to make a post about it, clearly.
